Roda de Capoeira Angola
To celebrate the Autumn coming, we want to gather capoeiristas in Copenhagen for an awesome Roda de Capoeira Angola.

Thursday Feb. 20
Yesterday three of us met and trained a bit - wonderful :-) Thursdays appear to be more convenient for everybody, but we'll keep up the Monday sessions for those who are interested (new people always welcome).
Next time is Thursday Feb. 20. I realise this date was already posted, I must have read the calendar wrong, but this time it's true. Let me know if you're coming by text +45 61658630 or leave a comment here.
It turns out that someone came on Sunday to Ungdomshuset, but couldn't get in because the person with the key could not go. We would like to avoid situations like this, and apologise to anyone who went in vain. To help coordinate those who are going with whoever has the key, I'll try to post on here if the person with the key cannot go.

Winter holiday
So good to see so many people today! And so sorry the school was closed (it's the winter holiday this week) - we didn't realise until too late. Some of us went for a drink instead though.

Changes
Hello everybody (or anybody) who keeps tabs on the dwindling community of capoeira Angola in Copenhagen!
I have good news and bad news. And as tradition dictates, we tackle them in reverse order.
Things have changed recently, as our beloved teacher Marcelo has gotten a new job which prevents him from teaching during the week. In order to see him, we'll have to arrange for Saturdays or Sundays (the latter maybe being easier, as we would already have a place to meet).
Therefore, I've decided to change our meeting "structure". I am going to post on this site the next time we (can) meet and will wait for confirmation as to who will come. I will also try to send messages to people who don't follow the posts here (and whose phone numbers I have). In the end, if we're fewer than three people who can come, then we don't meet. Otherwise, we'll make it happen!
As for the good news, as we don't have an appointed teacher who requires payment, I don't think it is necessary to charge anything for classes. So come, join us and have fun!
